NDA Officer Salary Structure – An Overview
After clearing the NDA written exam and SSB interview, candidates join the National Defence Academy (NDA) for a 3-year training program. Here’s how the salary progression works:
During Training at NDA: A fixed stipend of ₹56,100 per month is provided from the first day of training.
After Commissioning: NDA cadets are commissioned as Lieutenants in the Indian Army (or equivalent ranks in the Navy and Air Force) with the same base pay as other officers at Level 10 of the Defence Pay Matrix.
