International Care Labelling Systems for Textiles

International care labels offer guidelines to consumers on how to care for apparel, such as the best washing process to use, whether to iron or not, etc. The care labels help woven and non-woven material suppliers provide an assurance that the appearance, texture, and fit of a garment or piece of textile will remain the same even after repeated cleaning if the guidelines are followed. Throughout the world, various care labelling systems have been developed, with some being implemented as a form of governmental regulation while others are recognized as international standards. However, it’s important to note that not all of these systems are obligatory.
